Week 102 last week in the Cucuta, hard to say goodbye to such great people who have become my family away from family!

Okay well made here to Bogota after a long trip! It was really sad leaving Cucuta because I feel like I left family again! They really are a family for me. They made me give a farwell talk and everthing how cruel. But luckily I was able to fight away the tears. Later after church we went to visit Kevin and Ivan and their family. We had lunch with them and were able to spend some time togther before I left. They even took us to Terminal to drop me off. And on the ride to the bus station, they all said their last words of goodbye! It was really sad. And then saying goodbye was the hardest thing I have ever done! Kevin and Ivan were both crying, it was super sad! Im going to miss that family so much!!!
Anyways well my companion or old companion Elder Hildebrandt is trainning!! Can you say PODER? Im going to be an abuelo jaja :) And well Im with Elder Tipton right now finishing the mission like I started it jaja! Well not much else to tell you guys and I dont have a ton of time either but tomorrow we go to the temple and then thursday I'll be flying home:) I guess we will see each other soon!
Love you all Elder Strong

Week 101

Thanks Mom for the Email.

Well too be honest I dont know what to write about becuse I lost my agenda so I dont really remember to much of what we did, and other bad news I lost almost all my pictures of Cúcuta:(

Well lets see, we are starting to work more, with our recent coverts and helping them prepare to go to the temple and all that good stuff. The Jóvenes are going in December so I think Ivan might go with them that will be sweet because the temple is pretty far away from here almost a days travel!

We also had our Zone conference this Wednesday my last one which was super sad especially when I had to give my ¨last testimony¨in the mission. I basically cried like a baby, but since I lost all my pictures I guess there is no Proof:). Anyways it was good we talked a lot about the book of Mormon and the importance of having a testimony to be converted to the Gospel so that was cool. And then later we had a cake tres leches!!!

Domingo
Well we have a new bishop and we finally have a elders quorms president after 5 months so that is great, and Im glad my companion will be in good hands after I leave! That truly was a blessing !

Pday!
Well today we had our Zone Activity
We played some Micro, ultimate Frisbee, watched 17 milagros, and ate dominos and also played some Ping Pong it was pretty chill!

Well not to much else to say. This is my last week here in Cúcuta which is really sad, but Im going to give it my all and leave here with no regrets. Im definitely going to miss such a great place! It really has been the best 2 years! I think Im going to feel the same as when I arrived here in Colombia excited to start something new but sad to leave family behind.

I guess we will be talking. I just want to thank you guys for all your support these past 2 years, and all the prayers and everything else that have helped me. Have a great week!!! I love you all!!!!
Elder fuerte:)💪

Week 100

ThaNks Mom for the email...

well this email will probably be a little shorter because I dont have very much to say, but we will see....

Sick Again
Well this week I had a super bad cold! It was really annoying because my accent in spanish is bad enough without a  cold. And then came a bad cough i was just a mess at the beginning of the week but that is okay because after drinking lots of Agua Panela con Limón and also Miel con Limón Im doing a lot better now and The cough is gone so that is good news! :) Hopefully I wont get sick anymore ( Knock on wood cross your fingers)

NDH
We had a Noche de Hogar with Hna Clara which went super well we talked all about missionary work and everything and now she is going to invite a ton of her neighbors to another NDH So that is legit! By the way how are you guys doing with your NdH? You should invite your friends over when you have the missioaries over and have one right then and there!!

Baptism
Well thank you all for your prayers they were definitely answered because Ivan made the decesion and was baptized this Saturday! Baptisms are always really stressful to prepare for because it seems like at the last minute a lot of things go wrong! But it is so worth it!! It was an amazing ceremony and I had the privledge of baptizing him so that was super great! Im so excited for him. He turns 18 in 2 weeks and he cant wait to serve a mission so that will be the best! Im so excited for him and his family. Speaking of which his Mom who isnt a member came and loved it!

Tour of Cúcuta
Well today one of the members here offered to take us on a tour before I leave to visit cool sites here that we didnt even know existed! It was super legit we took tons a pics with statues, in the stadium, and lots of other things. Overall it was a blast.

Well Im glad to hear all is going well back home! I hope you all have a great week! Love you all!

Week 99

La Linde
Well we paased by Tuesday and visited a less active family. It was actually really cool because when we got there one of the brothers was there with a big smile on his face and told us that he has been getting up every morning and has read the book of Mormon before doing anything else. And you could really see that he found a new joy! It was great and then he came with us to conference and really enjoyed so that was legit!

Visa:
Well I have some good new and some bad news... ( If this is mom reading this only read ¨The Good News¨)

Bad News: well some of my papers got lost in the mail to renew my visa, so I might have to stay like 3-5 months longers for the process to take place again! Well i guess this could be good news too! More time in the mission right? No broma, I just sent it to a wrong adress.

Good news: well I resent it and they recieved everything and it is all Ok so dont worry Mom I'm still  coming  home jaja :) but I was almost able to extend lol by obligation ;)

General Conference
I absolutely loved general conference! I was waiting to hear all about marriage, families, and temples, but nothing. I think it was just God´s way to remind me that I still dont need to think about those things right now lol:) But it was great I loved it so much. It was fun watching it with the other gringos. I even mad rice crispies which was the best! I think my favorite session had to be priesthood! It is always just so powerful and I feel they are always really direct and to the point! I really enjoyed Elder Uctdorf´s talk about Alma and Almulek, because I have never thought of that story in that way before, which was really inspiring for me!

Pday:
we went and bought some cool colombia things ,and well I can now say Im more colombiano que gringo jaja lol ;)

Anyways Im looking forward to this week ; because if everything goes according to plan Ivan gets baptized this Saturday!!!! We could use all your prayers !:)
I love you all so much ; I hope you have a wonderful week!

Week 98

Thanks Mom for the Email:) Im glad you guys had a great week!

My Week ....

Multi Zone Meeting
We had the prilvege  of a visit from president and his wife and the assitants. It was super great! Plus I was able to see Elder Lopez again which was awesome! Well they talked about having Charity for one another, and also alot about teaching people not lessons. Which was awesome, because a missionary can get caught up just teaching memorized material but it something so important to listen to the investigator and the spirit to really help them recieve a testimony. And so we are trying to become better at that with my companion.

Hugs
Well we are teaching a less active member and he is a great guy. He is only less active because where he was living the church isn't there. So well we were teaching him and then he introduced us to his neighbor who lives next door. And we were teaching her. She is really recpetive and everything! She even wants to be baptized!! Well as we finshed with a prayer we gave the less active a hug, and then we went to shake the hand of his friend. And she asked us ¨and my hug?¨Awkward but we explained but she was still a little sad. But it was kind of funny.

Intercambios
This week we had intercambios with the zone leaders which was cool. We had a great time , and I felt the spirit so strong this day! It was an amazing day just teaching and helping others! Also some less actives gave us a ton of Mamones so we filled our bags with them and were eating them all day! They are so good!

Bautismo
Well saturday came and Maria finally was baptized! It was awesome,. Her mom, sister, and grandma came!! Also Ivan came to the baptism!!! Anyways it was great! There were a good group of members there to support her so that was awesome! Then later after the baptism we had a lesson with Ivan and now he has a baptismal date for the 8th of oct. Im so excited for him and he is ready to be baptized! he is basically a member because he goes to mutual, activities with the youth, church, and everything else. he even wants to go with us to visit people! Now he just has to be baptized :)

Anyways that was our week!
I love you all so much have another great week!
Elder Strong

Week 97

Thanks Mom for the email! I Glad that you had a great Cumpleaños!!! I wish I could've have been there to celebrate, but I hope you were able to feel my prayes for you at least. Do you want to know something kind of cool. This past Saturday, or your Bday is the Día de Amor y amistad. And well I just want you to know how much I love you Mom. I really dont know where I would be with out all your support! You have done so much for me, and my brothers and you deserve a lot more, than we give you! I dont think we could ever repay for all that you have done for us. I could go on an on about all the great things you have and do for us but the list would be endless! Im so happy to have such a great, amazing, and one of kind mom. Te amo Mamá !!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

the rain came down and the floods went up.
Okay well monday night after we wrote to you guys, it just start down pouring, with lighting, and out side the streets rose to about a foot and a half of water. It was crazy. Well we nocticed someone in the corner of street having trouble trying to get the Moto to higher ground because it was already surronded by water. Well I just told my companion to take my bags and went into the river and helped push the moto into the garage! Then we just decided to help people move the motos, and other by removing water that had entered the house. It was great to just go out and serve! Plus we found a great family who is interested in our message! :)

FHE with Maria
Well Tuesday we had a FHE with maria in her house with all her family! Her grandma , mom, sisters, even the dog, and we invited some members to come with us and it was the best! We shared a cool message about baptism and about her decsion to be baptized! And the family said they are willing to support her and everything, they even want to recieve the lessons too!! So that will be awesome! maria is going to be baptized this Saturday!!! Im so excited for her, to see the progress she has made in almost 4 months has been great to see!

Morcilla :p ( dont eat it)
Okay well early in the week I ate Morcilla and well basically it is a sussage but inside it is cooked blood and with rice, and the outer part, well I dont want to ruin your dinner, so Ill just tell you when I get back jaja. Maybe Ill bring some home so you guys can try it:) How would that sound? Anyways I got pretty intoxicated, and I was sick for about 3 days. I didnt even leave the house friday. But now I'm a lot better and I learned my lesson the hard way. :P

Domingo de Divisiones
Well every Sunday we go to San martin and we split up with the members and it has been awesome because we can cover so much ground! And we had some really great lessons, and where able to find some more part member families which is always the best in the mission!

Futbol
Well today we were finally able to play Micro again. I haven't been able to play because in my district there are only sister missionaries and the 2 of us and   they dont like to play micro a lot. but they went shopping today, and so we went and played with some other missionries and members from a different ward. It was a ton of fun!!!

Well I hope you guys have an amazing week! And mom im so jealous you got to not only meet Brad Wilcox but have a picture with him too! i love his talks! Anyways love you guys!
Elder Strong

Week 96

Well sounds like you guys had a really great week! Jacob almost bro! You got to score a TD before I get back bro! And Kay mann whats up bro no goals this week?
Well this week was really great!
Martes: well we started off the day by getting lost looking for an address, but eventually after contacting a few people in the street we ran into some members from another ward, who helped us out , and we were able to talk with them for a while which was cool. Later we eventually arrived where we had planned on going. It was cool because we are teaching a less active and he introduced us to his girl friend who is super interested in the church so that was legit!

Miercoles: well we had zone conference we talked a lot about being obedient with exactness, so that was cool! Then later in the night we had FHE with a family and invited Maria who is super shy, too shy, but it was cool to get her to open up as we played some cool games!

Jueves: We didnt have any lessons :(, but it was still a great day! because a member called telling us how her friends dad wanted a blessing because he was in the hospital receiving a heart transplant. So went and it was a great experience the spirit was so strong. And the family also wanted a preisthood blessing for spiritual strength. And we were able to share a brief message with them.

Viernes: We had to go to another area to interview an investigator getting baptized, and then in the night we had a lesson with Carlos, Cathrine´s husband so that was cool. we read the book of mormon with them and told him how he could recieve an answer to find out if the book of Mormon is true! The spirit was so strong!

Sabado: we went to the Park and gave service which super fun, plus we saw some iguanas!! Later we came home and cleaned the house super good! And then we had our actvity in the chapel. We did Lehi´s dream it was super cool, I was someone trying to get the people to let go of the iron rod and play poker jaja. But altogether everyone had a ton of fun!

Domingo: Well we went to San martin and lets just Maria has another baptism Date we had a really great lesson and it was just amazing I dont know how to explain it but it was powerful. The date is for the 24th of this month. If you guys could pray for her that would be awesome!!!

Well toady we had transfer and ....... we are both staying here! It is going to be the best transfer! Also we bought a couple of cool things in the plaza!

thanks Mom for evrything you are the best! I love you all have a great week! Juicios!!!

Week 95

Wow sounds like a very busy week, round two this week right? Jaja

Okay well this week went a lot better. There where some up and downs but altogther it went by pretty well and really fast! Too fast!
Tuesday we had a good lesson with S_ and D_  thay are twin brothers who are starting to come back to church litlle by litlle. S_ actually came with us to church this past sunday so that was super legit plus he made friends with a lot of the youth which is the best! Later we had a lesson with the M_ family they are cool, but they have a few issuses with other members in the church so we are working on that. But they are really nice.
Miercoles was a really  good day. We Are starting to work in a small pueblo close by and there is a lot of work there! Lots of less actives and lots of Investigators so that is legit! We are starting to see alot more progress in the ward. And there are a few members there who are willing to help us, which is always better!
Jueves colombia was playing soccer, so basically we had no lessons and then in the night we had ward council which isnt that great when only a few members actually come to it. Sometimes it is a joke to even go. but I think they are going to change it to Sunday to see if more people can be there.
Viernes: Well we had a good day we did a lot of contacting just asking and looking for service projects which helped us a lot, to find a few more people to teach. We even had some of our investigators  introduce us to people that might be interested so that was legit!
Sabado: Well it was a long day walking all day in the heat, with no lesson.
Domingo: went by super well, we had lunch in San Martin and then we had a lesson with one the Sister´s friends. then we contacted a ton of people who were having a party outside, because as we got close they were all like here comes the Mormons, and so I just had a huge smile on my face , and they called us over to talk to them , and we were able to set up another appointment to pass by. Also we had divisions which went well , we got a lot of work done in a short amount of time so that was great!

and today we went bowling . I almost won but tied with another missionary we both got 124 .

Anyways I hope you all have a good week with Football , fútbol, shcool, and verything else,
love you all,
Elder Strong

Week 94

Wow that sounds like a pretty crazy week! But that is good that you found time to enjoy it! Im glad that everyone is having fun with football and soccer! que pasó kayman porque no quieres ir a colegio? Pero esta semana va ser mejor para ti, verdad?
Well anyways this week went by super fast I feel like the days just get shorter and feel like there in never enough time to do all the things on our list. And sometimes it can be a little stressful, but Ive been trying to control my stress, and let it build me instead of impact me in a negative way. But our area is huge and we are only 2 missionaries in the ward so that isnt the greatest with so much ground to cover, but hopefully they will send more missionaries soon! Well I dont have a whole lot of time because we are having a super Pday with Pres. Laney so this is why Im writing right now in the morning. Anyways this week went by super well! We had a lot of good lessons! I think the best lesson we had is when we went to visit Kevin and his step dad Carlos. We talked with and shared a message and Carlos told us how he wants to support kevin and the decesion he made to be baptized. And he wants to come to church and wants to go to a baptism to see how it is! So that was legit! Hopefully they will get baptized this up coming week!
Also we had an open house in one of the churches it was usper cool we just contacted a ton and brought a ton of people to come and get to know the church it was a huge sucess! And it was great just loosing all fear and talking with everyone there!   We have been finding some new invetigators so we will see how that goes this up coming week. But other than that it was a pretty great week.

Well I hope you have another great week ! Cant wait to hear about it!
Love you all,
Elder Strong

Week 93

Wow sounds like everyones been pretty busy!

Well this week in Cúcuta!

Martes: We walked a lot, and contacted a lot which good. Then we had a lesson with a less active family that we are trying to rescue they are super awesome. We talked about doing the samll things so that God can do bigger things in our lives!
Also they gave ys a ton of coca cola so that was legit!

Mericoles: We went to San Martin where we climbed the hill to visit another less active family. It was good but I don't know for some reason this ward has a lot of feelings against each other or in other words there are many problems between the members! Which makes it really hard to work with. But my companion and I are trying our best and making the most with what we got.

Jueves: We had lunch with a lday who has a son in the mission. She is really catholic but she was excited to meet us and has a lot of questions for us. So we are going to see if we can help her. Then we had a lesson with an  investigator who doesnt want to fullfil the things we tell him it is always have you read the book of Mormon and the answer is always no :( So we had a heart to heart lesson with him and told him that it is the only way to find out is for himself. Sometimes it is just to easy that people take it for granted.
we also got a water filter, so no we dont have to buy giant bags of water.

Viernes: We went and had a lesson with a less active youngman who was baptized not to long ago, but doesn't have a lot of support from his family because he is the only member so it is hard for him, but hopefullly he will come back to church.

Sabado: We had servicio it was cool we had to do alot of work but it was cool and it is always good to do something different. Then in the night we had a lesson with Kevin and his Family. It was good. Also we were able to talk with his step dad , and well he is intersted. So now we have 3 more in the family who are preparing to be baptized , hopefully they can get married and get baptized as soon as possible!

Domingo: we talked a lot about marriage in church lets just say TRUNKY! jaja no jk. Later we went to San Martin and had a good lesson with the Arenas Family. The mom is member and her kids are less active. So we are working with them because the MOm has the goal to be sealed as a famly which is great.

Hoy: the sister missionries made lunch for us from their counries and it was the first time i had cerviche and it was pretty good.

Anyways that was pretty much our week! And this week is going to be 10x better!!! Have an amazing week love you guys!

Week 92

Thank you Mom !,
It is great to here about your week! Have fun with school again:)

Okay well this week was full of adventure!

Martes: We had a lesson with S y D_ they are really great youngmen! They want to change but they dont have a lot of support from their family to come back to church, but we will see. Also we had some other lesson.  Then we were supposed to have a lesson with Kevin, but a Truck came from Bogotá so we had to wait for it because it was bringing materials to our house. So we didnt have a lesson with Kevin!

Miercoles: We had our zome conference, and we talked a lot about patience which is exactly what I needed to hear that day because shortly after, Pailas!!! We didnt have any lessons! Lets just say we put to practice what we learned earlier in the day.

Jueves: We went to San Martin, and we had a lesson with the Family Duran. They are really great but they still havent come to church yet:( Anyways later we were looking for directions and well we saw a hill that we have never seen before, and we went exploring because it is part of our area, and we found some really great people to teach! Also we can see a big part of Venezuela from the hill so that is pretty legit. Its like a mile a way.

Viernes: We had exchanges with the zone leaders. Which went pretty good. I felt the spirit really strong with Elder Johnson, and we had a good day.

Sabado: We had a open house for the chapel in Motilones. it went super well we  contacted  and brought a ton of new people to get to know the chapel so that was cool. It was a big success! later went and had a lesson with C_ ( Kevins mom) I_ ( uncle) and the grandma it was super legit! And they promised to come sunday to church, plus they gave us hot dogs for dinner.

Domingo: We had a good day in church kevin and his family came like they said they would so that was legit! Then Later we to San Martin which was great!

Hoy: We played micro with the young men for a while and then had a district actvity by the river where we had asado! But sadly we couldnt jump in the river with how hot it was !
but it was still fun!
i hope you all have a great week at school! Make this year count ! Good luck Jacob with your game! Exito!!!!

Week 91

How is summer over already, that went by so fast!! That is way awesome that Jacob will be playing football! Im super excited to see him play in the fall/winter!
And Im glad Josh and kayden are still playing soccer! Some one needs to keep the tradition going! :)

Okay well my week in Cúcuta.... Lets just  say it was HHHHHHHOOOOOOOOTTTTTTTTTT  !!!!!!
Martes: We were still waiting for our compaions to arrive so we were working in my area. We had a few good lessons, but I think what made my day was we were walking to a lesson, and we saw a man sitting down on the sidewalk, And he had a huge smile on his face, and we walked pass him, but then I got a huge feeling to turn back. So I looked back and he was still smiling at us so we turned back to talk with him. He was really receptive to what we had to share with him. We were  able to set up another day to visit with him, or well in this case other missionaries because he lives in a different area, but it was super Legit!

Miercoles: New Companion! Elder Hildebrandt .... Can you guess where he is from? .....no .... you think the last name is american or from a different part, of the world but not a latin name. And well your right. my comp is from germany!!! Haha well his great grandpa, he is actually from Peru. He is a really cool guy. He is really humble, and super funny. Also he knows pretty good english so that is legit! Anyways we took sometime to get him settled in, after his long travel on the bus from Bogotá.

Jueves: We had a really good lesson with S_ and D_ , they are less actives young men, who want to come back to church. The only thing is they dont have a huge support system from the family! But we will see what we can do.

Viernes: We had a super cool lesson in the morning with C_ it was great he told us of his desire to follow jesus Chirst and learn more about the church. So that was cool and the spirit was way strong! Then Later the sister missionaries called at the last minute to inform us that they had a baptismal interview. We had to run to the area in a small bus  that took up most of our day. But we were able to meet with A_ a reference from a member, so that was good! Now we are starting to find more people to teach!

Sabado: We had our district meeting, and then afterwards our president had encouraged us to practice english to help the missionries learn so we sang  the Hoki Poki to help them learn the parts of the body so that was fun! later we had some good contacts in the street, and then we went to visit K_ and his family , and read the book of mormon with them!

Domingo: After church we went to San Martin, we had a few good lessons,  And we found a new family who are super awesome so we will see how it goes with them!

Hoy: We went to Ventura plaza to go bowling, but the sister missionaries showed up late so we didnt have time, so we had an Ultimate air hockey battle instead, and My comp and I won!!!

Anyways that was pretty much the adventures of our week. I hope you all have a great last week of summer vacation! ENJOY IT!!!
Love,
Elder Fuerte:)
ps dad has my scripture it is the same one he used , what are the odds!

Week 90

Thanks Mom for the advice, and it is great to hear that all is going well back home. Hopefully those that are sick can feel better soon!

Anyways this email is going to be kind of short, because we dont have a ton of time, becuase of cambios. Well Im staying here in Cúcuta, but my companion is leaving to Bogotá. Well my other companion will be arriving a here wednesday. And he his new! That is right Im going to train for the first time in the mission. Im going to be a Dad haha. Im excited to train but super nervous! But I think it is going to help me a lot to remain focused and give all of me these last two transfers in the work of the Lord!

Well this week went by way to fast like every weeek! I feel like they just go by faster and faster every week! Well we had a really good week. We were able to find some new invetigators to teach this week so that is always good! Also we found a less active family who wants to come back to church so that is legit they are really awesome!! And we are also teaching their cousin who lives with them. And the dad isnt a memeber so we will see if we can teach him too! Also this week we were able to do a lot of service for members, less actives , and invetigators which was legit. I love doing service! I which I had a mission where all it was was serving! but teaching is also service which is cool too! yesterday after church Kevin´s mom made us lunch so that was cool! they are really aweome! And we are teaching the whole family now ! We also discovered that thursdays there is a pizza place 2 for 1 deal ! so it is like 7 dollars for 2 big pizzas!!! Jaja yummmm! anyways this was pretty much our week. I promise I will write a little more next week:)

I love you all so much ,
Elder Fuerte:)

Week 89

Thanks Mom for the update, I hope you were all able to go to six flags and enjoy it!

Anyways week 5 in Cúcuta...

Martes: not much happened we were basically walking and talking with people most of the day. Then in the night we had a lesson with a recent convert, but she told us how she doesnt have a testimony, and she doesnt like to read the Book of Mormon.

Miercoles: 20 de julio (do you know what that means?) Independence day here in Colombia. it was alright not to cool or anything. Not even close to the states with fireworks in all that, but it was still cool. We had a lesson with Andres(less avtive) and his sister and mom, which went well. Then we went to visit hno.Mendoza.

Jueves: I was a little stressed in the morning. One because my companion is sometimes a little slow in the morning so some times he misses his personal study and then takes the time of our companionship study for his personal study. So that drove me a little crazy. And then in the night we had to cancel 2 lessons to go to ward council which didnt take place because no one showed up!! Here they dont take ward concil to seriously, but the bishop is trying so we will see. But I did learn to index while we were waitng for the Bishop so that was cool, because i have never done it before jaja oopps.

Viernes: We had intercambios with the zone leaders which was good. I was with Elder Tucker, he is some how related to the Keables. So that was kind of neat. Anyways intercambios where good, we went and visited a part of their  area that is really humble where almost everyone lives in shafts with tin roofs and walls and dirt floors. That was a really humbling experince. And the people there were really receptive so that was cool!

Sabado: I read a talk about forgiveness, which helped me so much with my companion I talked with him and now we are on the same page which is good, but it is an amazing talk form the last conference!!! I recommend that you all read it! It really is helping me right now. Anyways later in the night we had a lesson with Andres and we talked with his son and his wife who arent members, which was super cool!

Domingo: We talked a lot about that talk I read which was legit! I learned so much about forgiveness! And then we went on divisions in san martin. and had a few really good lesson. We had a lesson with a family that just moved from Venezuela.

Hoy: We played so basketball suprise , it wasnt futbol this week, it was only because we didnt have a soccer ball sad day:( , but it was still good. Anyways I hope you all have a good week. Good luck Jacob with Football! Have a fun and exciting week! Love you all,
Elder Fuerte:)

Week 88 baptism of Kevin

Im glad that you all had a great week! And that is awesome that all you guys are enjoying summer because it is slowly coming to an end!!!

Well week 4 in Cucuta.....

Martes: Well my Comp Elder Velancia from Bolivia had his meeting with the other district leaders. While we were waiting I was talking with Elder Colon a new missionary from Utah. He gave me some beef Jerky which was super awesome and nice of him!  Later we went to visit a less active but as we were reaching her house, a child came out telling us if we were looking for Hermano Antonio, so thinking it was a less active we went to say hi and get to know him. Turns out the little boy mistaked us for the Jehova witness, and we ended up talking to him for like an hour not coming to an agreement. Then later we went and  talked with a less active and her friend was there, so now we have some new to visit which is good , because we don't have many investigators :(

Miercoles: We had our district meeting. It was good we invited the young adults who are preparing for a mission to come with us which they did so that was legit. I was in charge of teaching everyone english because I'm the only one who speaks it in the district. Anyways I taught the parts of the body, doing the Hoki Poki dance jaja. it was a lot of fun. then we had cake to celebrate the birthday of one of the sisters. Later we had a lesson with the Family Gonzalez it went well. She just got out of the hospital, and she gave us 2 reference to go vistit at the hospital. Later Her husband came with us to a lesson we had it was great , because he is out of work right now, and what he does is what one of our investigators needs, so that worked out super well!

Jueves: We went to the hospital with Hno. Edgar, to give blessing it was a great experience to help others, and exercise priesthood power. Later we went with a young man Nicolas to visit some less actives which went well we invited them to the party the youth had that night and ºthey both came. Also the ward gave us Hayacas for dinner , It is like a tamale.
